I’m very excited. In one week, German electronica trailblazers Kraftwerk will be in Seattle. They were so ahead of their time that, in order to realize their grand musical vision, they invented electricity.
This will be the second time I’ve seen them live. The first was about 10 years ago under the stars at the Greek Theatre in LA, with tickets I won in a radio contest.
I have won two notable contest-related accolades in my life; the other was Letter of the Week in the football comic book “Roy of the Rovers” in 1982.
If you’re unable to get tickets this time around, you can recreate the Kraftwerk live experience by listening to this week’s tune and watching four middle-aged colleagues do their email.
