I was driving with Alex, my son, the other day and we passed a Tesla. He told me that, when you lock the car, the door handles disappear into the body of the car. The handles come back out again when you approach it.
Neither of us are particularly interested in cars, but we both thought this was really cool. It’s part of being streamlined and saving energy, but more than that, it said to me that Tesla has looked at everything differently, and focused on every detail to challenge how a car should be made. That little detail carried, for me, a whole story of what Tesla is about.
