Educational one (for me) this week. Guy Clark, who passed away this week, was an accomplished luthier.
A luthier (/ˈluːtiər/ LOO-ti-ər) is someone who builds or repairs string instruments generally consisting of a neck and a sound box. I think the neck and sound box bit applies to the instrument, not the luthier.
